Anyway! Ryker was given the nickname “The Phoenix” for various reason. The first being his fire based powers and even though all Archangels have red wings, it certainly went along with it. Reason number two is because he once produced flames from the feathers of his wings during The Fallen War. Though the most infamous reason, and his personally most embarrassing, was when he (accidentally) caused a year long drought. While at the time he was furious, he now looks back on the incident with a sense of guilt. But, in a good mood, he doesn’t mind the light teasing he gets from his fellow angels.

Also, nice work. ^!^ And though I like the nickname, and understand the reasons for it, the last reason doesn't make a lot of sense. Sorry. ;-; A phoenix and a drought? I don't get it.
But I agree, he's a phoenix boy. And his butt feathers certainly work with the title! XD

The last reason is more a lore based legend that I forgot to elaborate on. There used to be a Phoenix so powerful that every time it died, it caused a severe drought that lasted nearly a year before coming back from its ashes. But his butt feathers are indeed the cutest reason, even though he turns redder than his wings when someone calls them “cute”
