Shàonǚ is an ageless sorceress born in 1644 in Northeast China. Deceived into stealing a sacred sword from a clan of dragons living in the Gobi Desert, she was captured and made to atone for her transgression. After decades of repayment, she was gifted four mystic rings and a scepter that grant her great powers over wind, air, perception, and her own size and strength, as well as eternal youth. Trained in the mystic arts, she is also a skilled armed and unarmed combatant. Tasked with aiding justice by the Dragons of the Five Points of the Compass, Shàonǚ protects the powerless and assists those in need.
