Lol my aunt has an Akita named Charlie, one of the best behaved dogs I've ever met in my life. I'll probably wind up with one myself someday! (zzzomg the dog shelter in my hometown has a huuuge akita/husky mix named Kodiak, i just wish I had a space big enough for him)

Awwr! You should get one! They can be tricky and stubborn but if you read up on them and learn how to deal with their BS its completely worth it.

I've never seen an akita/husky. I bet its gorgeous. Does it have blue eyes?

Yeah, double blue eyes, and full white coat (I almost thought he was a wolf when I saw him in the dog run at the shelter). And he's such a sweet old boy, almost 10 years old and so lively.
