Maybe you cannot change the world right here and now.
But you can keep your own home clean, can keep your heart and mind free of guilt.
Be Good.
And, over times, you may influence others.
An arched eyebrow.
A short "Oh, Really?"
Lending a helping hand here, a kind word there.
And, like a single raindrop cannot change the world,
but many raindrops hollow out the stone,
and a million waterdrops form the stream that gives life to a country,
and a hundreds stream form the ocean,
and the ocean being invincible,
with it's depths, its furious storms and tsunamis,
you can, and you will, influence the future.
Change it.
Make it a better place.
Starting by just being a good person.
A raindrop.
Small, innocent and clean.
But you can keep your own home clean, can keep your heart and mind free of guilt.

Just old wise words.
I'm german.
My country did what Tabia's is currently doing.
On a different scale, true, but driving a car into a group of people is, for the affected people, just as bad as driving a truck into a larger group of people for the affected people.
When I got onto the internet in 1995, it was a common question if my real name was Adolf. Because, every German surely was named Adolf, right?
So, even assuming a rather "good" outcome of the entire situation, I am guessing that, well... People from Russia will be seen less as the people with a proud history overcoming great dangers, as a people with great and warm hearts in a cold country, but, well... Something on the other end of the popularity scale.
And it doesn't help that smartphones bought and registered, according to their IMEI ( a unique identifier for phones ) a year ago in the Ukraine try to register from the USSR with new ownership data during the last 3 months. It is really not helping.
It is like a sales note:
"Red baby shoes for sale, never worn"
It carries a lot of information, connotations, concepts.
A lady from the Ukraine shouted at me why I didn't hate all the Russians.
Because if everyone would have hated all the Germans during and after WW2, I would not exist.
The country I live in, as clumsy, overly careful and often at odds with itself as it is at times, would not exist.
And *pointing at Miss Tabia* She is maybe not directly suffering from war and devastation and direct danger to her life... But her friends and family are in danger, in many ways, and it might literally still break her heart.
And I hope it will not, for her kind is important for humanity as a whole.

I understand you.
I'm a Russian citizen, but I have been living in Ukraine for several years and I am on both sides of the barricades. My parents and friends live in Russia. My great-grandmother, grandmother and father are Ukrainians. Great-grandmother and grandmother with her family under the Soviet Union were forcibly relocated to Siberia from western Ukraine.
I hate the Russian state with all my heart for all the horror they have brought to the world. But I understand, love and respect my friends. I see everyone who suffers because of this and my heart aches for everyone. Tabia is not exception.
Praise the Gods that I can talk to them about the things that are happening here and not hide it while my parents don't want to talk about it.
We all suffered from this unnecessary and useless war. Thank you for helping the Ukrainians and they can be understood.
