Did you know I have a pokesona too? Yes I was chatting with a friend of some time ago and it eventually led up to creating Jammeleon over here. I made sure some feature were still there: the brown hat, Jammer's brown eyes, and other features. :) Although, I think in the future I'm also going to draw him with the green belt Jammer sometimes wears. So here it is, a cute little Jammeleon.
Oh, and incase you think the Jammeleon's horn would make it impossible to wear a hat, the horn bends down when the hat is worn. You can see that if you look hard enough.
While thinking of a pokesona I was thinking to choose a Charmander at first, then a Charizard. Eventually, I started thinking that Charmeleon does get as much love, as far as I know. Plus, he a little over three feet tall, which was the height I was looking for in a pokesona.
I must say, I am really proud of how the warm lighting came out on this one. I think I'm getting a little bit better at drawing fire. :) The eyes didn't come out as great as I had planned though. :/
Critiques are always appreciated. ^^

I love this, mostly because I love the char- family way more than I should ^^
But wait, you want critique, so here it is: Unless it is supposed to be this way, use softer brushes and less than full opacity to do color, then it won't look so much like clay.
Also, you lazy bum are never on msn :P

This is really awesome Jam. <:3
The fire on the tail does look really good too.
I like how you did the colors and shades. So well you do them.
Your style is quite unique to me too.
The poses are really cute, your design is nice too.
I hope to see more art from you soon in the future.
I am just wondering, I can't make it out, is that a specific design in the sand?

My goodness is that adorable! ^..^ You're very right, Charmeleons don't get half as much love as the other evolutions. I must thank you for choosing the species...especially considering I'm a 'meleon myself.
Lovely footpaws, especially. <3 Such big and adorable and slurp-able feet you got!
