Birdo is being dried in the balcony after she was washed by her grandparents. My grandfather didn't have hot water, so he couldn't do that more efficiently. I tried to squeeze the water out of Birdo, but managed to do it a little. Now she is hanigng to dry. I am worried about her, because cotton inside her might rot before she dries out.

Next time you wash her, don't leave her hanging because that may loosen the seams or stretch the fabric.
The best thing to do is leave her lying on a cloth drying rack or a suspended strainer.
Hair dryers also help, but only use lukewarm air, never hot.
I do that with my plushies, fursuits and pillows every time!. It works just fine and doesn't damage them.
