I thought it would be fun to collect all of the cover art for Long Division for a group photo. Not only are all seven books displayed here (in order of publication), but the original paintings for Books I & II are here as well. Rounding out the set is the Long Division business card which some of you may have seen lying around Furnal Equinox this past March.
My deepest thanks to these artists:
Valerie Gershman
for Books I & II
Creekmud
for The Worlds of Long Division
Soot Ashby
for Book III, Roy: Between Marco & Tracy, Tracy: Family Affairs, and Beaver Damn!
All of the books in the Long Division series are available now in paperback and electronic editions from LD-Books.com.

Exactly! That was a conscious design goal on my part. I wanted all of them to be instantly recognizable as books in the Long Division series. I was very fortunate to find three different artists who could pull that off while working independently. I also wanted distinct colors that would allow a reader to choose one from their bookshelf at a glance (Oooh, I want to re-read the green one today!).
Thanks. I think they look good together too. It gives me a real sense of accomplishment to see the entire collection at once.
When Valerie left the project, I felt like my dreams of having a unified look for the series were at an end. Then you stepped in and picked up exactly where she left off. I'll always be so grateful.

I've become a fan of your art thanks to Ursus, and you are most definitely on my "must commission someday" list.
All of the artists who've contributed to Ursus' series have done a beautiful job of bringing his characters to life on a visual level, and I love all of your (and their) contributions to Ursus' wonderful series.
*whispers* You're still my favourite... :)
