Victory Ada Pearl is my witch hunter from the Vietnam era campaign currently running.
Satyrs and other magical creatures are hunted by armies of humans, so as a way to survive, satyrs had developed tribes of hippie camps and hid out in the mountains. Only sending their children to town to get groceries when needed, as the young children don't have their horns yet.
On a trip for groceries, Victory's camp was attacked by human armies after the town was destroyed. Victory was trapped under a pike of rubble and later recovered by witch hunters, who brought her to an internment camp with her younger sister.
She was tenacious and made sure her sister was taken care of, and was picked out for training after an incident where her sister was killed and she disarmed a guard. She became despondent and listless when her sister was killed.
Victory proved an excellent shot and over several years worked her way into an elite team of witch hunters. She barely speaks except to respond to orders. She rarely takes off the mask
