Here are a few drawings of Kaltag from Universal's "Balto." Here's Kaltag from Universal's Balto. Other than the top right expression, I drew him more in my own style, as I know his design and anatomy looks somewhat different. I noticed that on the very bottom one, he has a very lionlike body, but I still liked how it looked so left it in.
He was one of my favorite characters from the film other than Balto, so I decided to start practicing on drawing him. Well, enjoy!

I liked Kaltag's energy, I need to do one showing that. Star made the movie alot more hilarious, heheh. Steele falls in that same category with Buster to me....well at least at the end. He did prove he was vicious too, so I have to give him props for that. Definitely a great design too.
I have no idea how I missed replying on these messages, sorry about that bro! I actually plan to do art of the trio soon. I felt bad that I liked the trio more than Balto or Steele...though honestly I usually like the supporting characters more than the main characters. Kaltag was pretty mean to Star, Kaltag is violent...all those punches, heheh.
