Out of early access. This is the world map I had been working on for the manatear. I really like how it shaped up. I feel like we got a proper "Land torn up by magic" vibe.
I figure the map is two thousand miles from left to right. The regions that is beast barony and further west are humans.
The manatear forces a lot of awkward naval navigation.
Obviously there is way more map outside of this this, but these are the main regions that can potentially matter to the manatear. The most interaction they have is with the beast barony. Which they trade with frequently.
Beware, my hehe-hoho tf gimmick land is embedded is a serious buisness near-future tech level fantasy setting with geopolitics! gasp!

They are at least on level with our real life tech level with a bunch of rule of cool things depending on a region's specialization. Eventually I'll get good enough to draw more parts of the wider worlds stuff. It just becomes very much not about the manatear at that point which is the main thing the patreon is centered around at the moment.
Eventually I'll start expanding on what is outside of the manatear. I have a bunch of ideas centered around the silver sea coalition. I just have to get the cool Kensai, mecha, and pilots of mass destruction in terrifying jet planes out and about before I ambush people with international politics as plot.
I'm curios of the lands outside the Manatear and if there is anyone capable of visiting the Manatear and returning. Seems all either become permanent visitors or dead. The only visitor I can somewhat imagine is maybe someone using a golem, skin suit, or maybe a animal familiar to visit the Manatear while using the golem like a puppet or seeing through the eyes of the familiar while the operator remains in their homeland. Kind of like a deep sea dive with a power line to a drone or an air hose to a deep sea diver in the case of a familiar. However, if this is possible I'd imagine there would be side effects since you'd have a magical line tied to the golem or familiar that perhaps the Manatears magic would follow like electricity to the source. Not being in the Manatear you'd be a bit grounded assuming not in a magical environment but not sure what the surge of magic would do if this were possible and attempted. Lethal or side effects base on exposure I'm sure.
At the current state, it's mostly the random average joes that get screwed when they arrive. Think of it as radiation, everyone has a different "You're screwed" number and if you manage exposure you can do a lot of work out there at low risk. There are plenty of ways to manage dosage and ensure that you stay well outside critical mass ranges through a combination of anti-magic fields and effectively magical radiation suits. (That and/or be a badass that can manage the magic influence and dump the energy as they go. There's a fair number of those in the wider setting.)
There is a reasonably active trading situation with non-spellfluxed, they just have a lot of paranoid security methods going on, including sleeping at sea rather than on land. And being ready to pickup and run. Think of managing a base in the manatear like setting up an Antarctic research base, except less cold (typically) and there is way more wildlife that can ruin your day. Suitably that sounds like a sucky situation so not many people do it.
Spellfluxed themselves are very wary of any human they trip over outside of a merchant context, because those are terrifying heavily geared "Will shoot you" treasure hunters after artifacts in long lost ruins from before the manatear's formation.

There are some places where it is that bad, but it would be a worst case situation that a rando-human couldn't trip into without some absurd enabling events. The border is soft and inconsistent, there is a good deal of beast barony settlements that have protection wards up to ensure their safety. Underwater stuff is mostly in the "Yes" category with "there be spellfluxed pirates because whynot.".
there is no neat and tidy folder for them, but you SHOULD be able to search the words "Manatear reference adalore" on FA here and get all the pieces I have posted, just sort by date.
I intend to eventually sort that out as I am starting to get plenty of art to the point I'll need one.

the border is effectively a bit wastelandy because the intensity of the magic fudges with everything before it hits saturation and becomes a land of magic. They have hardware to be safe out there and take shelter when the magic wobbles too close and have gear to go out in it. If they were going by foot a human could run through the border and keep going but chances are someone in a off road vehicle will just drive up and detain them and drag them back. :p
