Jus belli, ut qui vicissent, iis quos vicissent, quemadmodum vellent, imperarent.
- Julius Caesar, Bellum GallicumCongratulations! Your planet has been chosen for inclusion in the Imperial Galactic Community by the Crown Prince himself. Your new status as 'Subject Planet' comes with many new benefits and responsibilities. A diplomatic attaché will be sent to explain the new changes that will be coming, but let us be the first to welcome you to our little family of planets!
Just a fun little piece done by
Geranium001~. I really love the NGE-style body-fitting space outfits you see in a lot of sci-fi, and I was really excited to finally get a piece done. I'm not sure if I'll expand this into an alternate timeline or not, but watch this space. If it's not obvious, I've been playing quite a bit of stellaris lately.

Totally column B, obviously. Just because His Highness wondered 'Will nobody rid me of this turbulent planet?' aloud in the midst of a bunch of Sycophants constantly jockeying for pole position in the Imperial Court does not mean he was ordering the planet be forcefully brought to heel. Any insinuation otherwise, while not illegal, is considered 'turbulent'.
And now I can't help but imagine such worlds meet their end not when one of His most loyal retainers proactively interprets the needs of state, but when several of them do at once and enter into an 'animated discussion' about who thought to undertake the task first after their arrival. Of course, one further imagines securing any proof that the asteroid belts where such completely friendly sparring takes place were ever such a planet as His Highness mentioned is likewise difficult.
