and EVEN IF, i suffer from misophonia, making me unable to long-term share a room with someone : )
honestly? i was convinced until now that i dont even need a relationship, im happy being single.
but then a very close friend of mine got now a partner and... i can't help but feel jealous about what they have.

I feel that. Been 8 years for me since I've been in a serious relationship. I'm up in my lower 30s now and part of me wonders if that's just how things are going to be. Someone as full of love and affection as myself staying single? Nah. It cant be. Must be a mistake. I still hold onto hope but those shadows on the wall are getting mighty long.
One day. I know patience is a virtue and all, but watching those younger than me find that happiness with seemingly no issues does sting a little.
Hope you can find someone special soon though. Hell, for all either of us know they're right under our noses and we just dont realize it yet.
