Bio: How does Fate’s design work throughout the realms? Can it undo the mistakes of the past? These kinds of questions run around inside Vinari’s head as she studies intensively.
Born to a gypsy family of low income on the outskirts of Baldur’s Gate, her early life had been magical. Their main source of income was through her mother’s Tarot Card readings, giving fortunes to those who wish to know their future. Her life, however, wasn’t without bigotry over her Gypsy origins, so she spent most of her free time with her father, an Ex-Member of Candledeep, the biggest library in all the realm. He taught her everything he knew from books & scrolls from all over, making her a brighter student than her peers. She wanted a better life for her poor family, so she studied in secret for a way to gain riches beyond theiby using forbidden magicks.
In her attempt though, a rift in space-time opened, plunging her entire family into realms unknown. Stricken with grief over her loss, she turned to her Father’s past in Candledeep for guidance in the hopes of finding a way to bring her parents back & discover how her Fate could be changed.
Armed with her mother’s Tarot Card Divination cards & her father’s magickal know-how, she created her very own brand of magick to wield not found in Candledeep before of Divination based magic. She now journeys across the land searching for answers of the world beyond & the hope to redeem herself for her shortcoming with bringing her family home.
Personality: Sheltered & well-mannered, always questioning how people work & function, even study dead enemies' bodies for how they work. Always loves to see people tempt fate, even more so when they fail, giving a small bit of smug satisfaction
Favored Weapon: Magic Spells housed in her Tarot Cards & can predict the future through them, bringing good fortune to her friends & bad fortune to her foes
Secret Flaw: Holds grudges towards bullies & discriminating people, but does so quietly by altering cards to change their tune when she gives them readings.
