a less-than-expertly-rendered scene derived from an event within a video game, with a lengthy explanation as to why I drew it that you do not need to read to have no idea what is going on here, though certainly I would prefer you to glance at that if you feel compelled to try telling me why I made this in lieu of such remarks.

Neither did I, but I found a page through news-searching which indicated there was, so that legally is enough for me.
Duke does not canonically eat hamburgers, that I know of. He only eats whole turkeys found in little colored question mark boxes, so if he has a hamburger he has no reason to hoard it selfishly.

This piece, and its accompanying writeup, are perfect.
Illogical fast food was a staple of all those platformers, and Cosmo and Duke were both prime examples. That and really disorientingly rough scrolling. The original Keen trilogy had much smoother scrolling but the food situation was still quite out of hand.

I do not believe in perfection but I appreciate if you believe that I have minimized error!
Duke does not grab quite as many empty calories as Keen, but one of the first messages that appears in the original Duke Nukum game is "drink soda to increase your health!," a recommendation Keen has never echoed. In fact there is no evidence of what Keen does with the ingestibles he absorbs. Maybe he saves worlds by preventing the consumption of such objects.
I believe the hamburger is the only conventional junk food item that Cosmo finds (barring an unidentified red bottled fluid that appears in some episode 3 bonus stages), mostly coming across jewels, but for all I know shiny rocks serve the same function for weirdos like that.

Now that's pretty sweet! It's cool seeing that measly green kid again, for some reason he just didn't become as famous as the blond himbo. That's a good-looking background as well, and I bet the ice walls in particular were more troublesome to draw than it looks due to all the reflections going on
Thank you! The ice went through a few different stages! Initially I was trying to honor the original level's background, then trying to "enhance" it without bothering to look up real ice, then I looked up real ice, then it struck me that the original background was probably inspired by the Fortress of Solitude from the 1970s-80s Superman films, then I considered not-necessarily-ice crystal-filled caves. I didn't draw many reflections, I mostly smeared colors around! but the man wearing sunglasses gave me rather a bit of trouble, and had his own heap of conflicting reference material to consider.
