One of two little owl plushies for  kitsumi.

There will be a little girl owl coming up in the next day to go along with it!
I had so much fun making it. She requested some specific sorts of yarn that made the little project much more fun. I got to play around with some Lion Brand: Nature's Choice organic cotton yarn for the body of the owl and some Lion Brand Homespun for the hat (note to all crocheters -- do not try to use small hook for Homespun! It's so frustrating!)

The little hat's ear pockets are a bit bigger than I would have probably wanted, but if they were more form fitting they would have been very hard to get on the owl's head correctly. Hopefully that's okay!

Obviously the little hat is removable! I really like this one. He seems like a very nice little owl and I'm looking forward to making his little friend.
