Ah, culturaly assumed sybolic figures! Really makes drawing comics easier. The donuts=police thing is apparenly only in the states though. My Brit friends didn't know what I was talking about.
I'm going to have some typical film students appear in my comic apparently (to satarize some of my more steriotypical peers.) You think just drawing a messenger bag on any David Lynch DVD would do it?

Well, that would be a director, but not the typical film student. At my school especially there's a certain anti-conformist stupidity that undermines the whole idea of movie-making. I need something that shouts "I'm so pretentious and post-modern that I don't need to make sense, because making sense is something that is too Hollywood and mainstream for me!"
Needless to say, I don't get along with a lot of my classmates.
