The former rulers of the land of Ruth. Wilhelm was supplanted by the Overlander Julian, whom he'd previously appointed Minister of War, and banished to the Void. Aleena, at the time in early stages of pregnancy, fled her country, taking Ruth's iconic relic, the G-Decanter, with her. Accompanied by the bogatyr Viktor Bolt, she was offered haven in Lacroa at the behest of King Revil. During her exile, Aleena gave birth to triplets: Sonia, Sonic, and Manic. The Warring States Crisis continues as the countries of the west fight back against Julian's ambitions. If the voivode can be forced from power, Aleena can be restored to the throne.

As for Wilhelm's fate... who knows.

Once again, everything relating to such characters is a mixture of the Archie and Underground backstories. In regard to Wilhelm, he was created whole-cloth by me; I don't think Underground said anything about that incarnation of Aleena's husband.

As previously established, Ruth is mostly based on Kievan Rus, hence why they appear to look as if they had roles in a Glinka opera or a Tchaikovsky ballet. Originally, Aleena's hands were too small, and I sought to remedy it (clumsily) by overlaying larger hands the G-Decanter to where they are now.
