Eonis in Color

I wanted to show off the final color version of the 'New Take on Snow White" piece that I did for Eonis Alpha. Needless to say, I like how it came out. I delivered the piece at Furfright, and I am happy to say that Eonic liked it to. Thanks again for this delightful commission!

You are very welcome. I like commission work in general, but some pieces really activate the old dutch/german detail genes. This one qualifies.

Thank you, Shade. Your comment about the background is perceptive. It's one thing to do a character illustration, but it's another to do a character with a background and make all the elements work together.

*Grins.* I think doing lots of different type of illustrations helps with this too. When you do commissions that require the background to actually be seperate, or non-interfering, you probably also explore the finer points of what connects these elements. But I won't speculate too much on that, it's your work afterall!
