Okay. Morty had built up a lot of bad karma, considering it was his act of pettiness that misfired and started the disaster with the siblings to begin with. But this problem isn't one of his doing. And he's ACTUALLY TRYING TO HELP!
And everything screams that he does see 13 as FAMILY, not as a science experiment no matter how much he might pretend otherwise.
The bad vibes being thrown Morty on this page are... to be frank, a waste. Morty has plenty to feel ashamed of already, wailing on him when he's trying to actual contribute doesn't solve anything, and it only DISTRACTS from the problem at hand.
And WHY is the bad vibes thrown at him AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! It waste time, energy, and mental focus. Morty might be petty and thin skinned, but he still has a big brain on his shoulders and they need al the smarts they can get!

Also, what Morty's advice medically wrong? Just asking objectively her.e

And geeze, his mutation is GETTING WORSE, it's gone passed the point of being helpful and has become a progressive DISEASE. And this is the world's worst timing! Right when the siblings need their full attention they now have to balance with ANOTHER urgent transformation crisis!!!!

I'm not a doctor, but if they were to hang Noah's head off the edge of the table it would probably cause serious neck strain. Combined with his constantly changing body, that could damage his spine. Morty offered the first thing that came to mind. Given another minute to think about it, he would have ruled it out.

It also serves to highlight that Ashton is holding a grudge unfairly. Ashton is almost always the only one to yell at Morty like this anymore, he can't get over his past behavior to see the changes he's made. (Ashton also seems to have gotten more aggressive and rage-y as time goes on, but that might just be my imagination, or because we've seen more of him now, or it could be a side effect of his own changes with the extra pair of muscular arms.)

Although we cannot clearly see his arms, it definitely looks like his legs are shrinking in panel 10, or perhaps it's just the perspective. But his neck changes look like he's going quadrupedal. And is it just my imagination or is his snout getting longer?
