Bert's too innocent to know what pot is ;) But yeah... you put peanut butter in anything and it doesn't matter if it's lined with razor sharp teeth, he'll go for it.

Oh yeah. He'll certanly won't want to smoke tobacco, but pot mixed with peanut butter, Bert would probably think that it's the best tasting peanut butter ever. :D

The only thing I love more than a Raccoon is a lightly toasted Raccoon. I have to admit I never thought about Ralph this way but in a strange sort of way it makes perfect sense (it might also explain why Bert constantly has the munchies for peanut butter, if I thought for one second that Bert would even know what to do with a joint. I can just imagine him stumbling across Ralph's stash by accident: "Hey, Ralph, I found your old aviator goggles right under all those weird Q-tips. Maaaaan, were my ears in need of a good cleaning, too.")

it does make sense, doesn't it? he does have that kind of... pleasant but slightly detached kind of personality that might lend itself to that kind of after-hours entertainment. plus, he can be kind of a goof and a dork sometimes too. i dunno, it just seems to fit to me X)

Trust me, I feel you on pretty much all counts. Don't worry about venting a little. You're not burdening me with anything, you know? And yeah.... if emigrating were easier, I'd be strongly considering Canada myself. Anyone queer (which would include me on a number of fronts) and anyone that's an ethnic minority here are feeling pretty damn dismal about the current political situation. "Despairing" is a word that comes up often. "Fucked" is another. But I digress... Sorry it's being so shitty for you, too. America's no picnic but at least there's places like California and the Pacific northwest here, too. Part of me is quietly rooting for California to up and secede from the US, like please, please. Anyway, I hope you're able to one day make it to one of the parts of the world where you'd fit in better. Half the country's population might be out of their gourd crazy and super nationalistic as well, but the other half of us would love to have you here I'm sure.
