From what I understand, the script itself is utter garbage, Leto is just the pretty face to try to make it seem prettier despite how shallow and pointless it is. The original Daredevil movie was better written than Morbius was. Same with his time as The Joker, pretty face given bad scripts, and just following the direction he is given.
That said, yeah, he isn't that good of a singer either, but he has good looks, so there you go, an instant reason to hire him and keep his pay lower than a larger name celeb that can act better as well as being inexperienced he can't tell a good script from a shit script.

TL;DR. Movie Morbius came out. It was dull and boring. It bombed at the box office fairly quickly. Memes then started popping up joking about it being the most successful Marvel based movie of all time. Then just recently, memes started coming out claiming that in the movie the main character, Morbius, says "It's Morbin' Time". Since practically nobody saw the movie, it's easy to say what did or didn't happen in it to get people to believe that they missed out on some prime unintentional comedy.
