this is a pic i've done of my childhood hero King Arthur who i made as a lion because of a idea of why all anthro/fancharacter species are friends with each other instead of eating each other. As Arthur was once the king of all anthro animal species and if it wasn't for him, Tails would be eating Sonic, Blaze would eat Jet and Vector would be eating everyone, and hybrids wouldn't have existed.

500 years before the battle of Cormalc ( see ESC 0) after the romans left, the animals species declared war on each other for supremecy of Britain. The foxes fought the Hedgehogs, the cats fought the dogs, the Rabbits, bunnies and Hares fought the squirrels and so forth. Then, an old wolf called Merlin called all the species to stonehenge and stuck a sword into a stone. He said that whoever can pull this sword from the stone will be the ruling species. So they all tried, but all failed to pull it, Not even the strongest gorilla, Bull, Ox, Horse or Elephant can pull it out, like it was stuck fast, so they left it and continued fighting each other.
Then one cold winters day a lion cub called Arthur found the sword, he was a lowly squire and he forgot his masters sword for a joust and quickly pulled it out with ease. When he told them what he did they didn't believe him and stuck it back in. But when the cub showed that he able to pull the sword they realised that this is the true king and all the species bowed before him and became king. Arthur declared that all the species should be friends with each other, no killing and eating each other. It wasn't an easy task.
He first tried to make peace between the Foxes of England and the Hedgehogs of Wales. He suggested that instead of eating the foxes ( the food chain doesn't apply here) The hedgehogs should try a new food souce and as it was winter he scooped some snow into a cone and stuck a twig into it. He called it a '99' and gave it to the hedgehog king to taste it. ( well, people back then ate anything) He liked it and will eat '99's instead of foxes. Arthur said that the recipe will improve over time and hopefully the hedgehogs will one day have a conisseur of the product.
However, Arthur couln't make peace with all the species, the wolves and gorillas and the reptiles still like to eat other species and were made enemies of Arthurs kingdom. These were known as 'vores' and thats how vore artists were born.
After uniting all the species, save for the ' vores' Arthur constucted a castle called 'Camelot' and built a round table consiting of an order of knights representing one member from each species.
Lancelot, a hedgehog, had an affair with Arthurs wife Gunivere and they eloped to.. errr somewhere.
Arthur then sold his sword he got from the stone at the ebay market and got a new one, Excalibur from a lake, given by a fish lady.
Then, Arthur and his knights decided to go find the Holy grail that was guarded by taunting french poodles, but he got arrested by the police.. He was then bailed out by Merlin.
Arthur ruled a good prosperous life but sadly he was killed in battle against the saxon wolves lead by Mordred, who looks like Scar. He was Arthurs bastard son as he was tricked into knocking up his half-sister Morgan le fey. Mordred kills Arthur but in his dying breath kills him back.
But according to legend, Arthur didn't die, just wounded. He was taken to the island of Avalon where he will sleep until the furries need of him once more. He didn't come when the humans invaded as he wanted a lie in.
After Arthurs death Excalibur was returned to the lake and the idea of peace between the species spread all over the world and thats why we are all friends.

about the picture, it was originally supposed to be Mufasa but i cant find a good pic of him so i used a pic of adult Simba instead which is better considering that Arthur was crowned at a young age.
