This is Salem's official outfit for when he is traveling around the world, fighting, and searching for his parent's killer. He was just a 10 year old cub when he grabbed the cloak after his parents were brutally murdered in front of his eyes the day before, but on his travels he eventually made his own attire to fight and travel in. It's designed to be lightweight and and easy to move around in so it doesn't hinder his movements when he uses his techniques, as he is fighting. And yet will still keep him warm on those cold rainy nights alone in the wilderness. He will usually be seen first wearing his cloak since he'd rather hide his appearance from his enemies, not to mention his three katanas he's hiding underneath. Once the fighting starts though he easily slips out of it by opening the clasp on his chest and draws his swords.
This outfit was designed by me with the help of one of my good friends, the amazing Mingchee, who of course also drew it.
