Seems like Emily caught herself in a awkward position, as captain Camile managed to spot and capture the mermaid. After hoisting the annoyed captive on board and tying her up, Camile decided that until she decided what to do with Emily she'd keep her on board as the ship's figurehead after losing the previous one in a big battle, at least till they find a better one. Of course Emily isn't too happy about becoming set dressing for the ship, though Camile defiantly seems to enjoy the company.

'So do I have to wait another year to show up again or are you actually going to do more with me?'

Uhm...

'Do me a favor, try not to get eaten by a shark while you're ‘hangin around’, I just had the front rebuild.'

'Mermaids aren't on a sharks menu. Do you know so little about the sea?'

So here we have someone once again poking her head out for Mermay, Emily, this time drawn by  usagiforehead in quite a interesting situation for her. Absolutely love the way this turned out, Camila looks pretty nice, standing on the ship's deck looking very smug and confident about the situation, and her red and black pirate outfit looks really nice on her. Emily also turned out brilliant, that minty blue on her looks great in Usagi's style, and he made sure to make her look properly tied to the ship's front, not to mention her green seaweed top is quite eye catching in this piece as well. Though what makes this entire picture for me is her expression and just how completely done she looks with this whole situation, it's great. Not to mention the ship itself has been nicely drawn, and the background with the birds around them defiantly give off the impression they're on the open sea, very well done. It's a fun pic that I hope you all enjoy!
