A neat little method of drawing canines from more... Frontward angles is to simply draw your circle for the head, and then draw a cup sort of pressed against it.

I like the way you do eyes. See, the eye, or at least the human eye, is not really round... More of a rounded rectangle, which is the gist of what you've done here. For some reason, though, I have this strange mental tweak, where I can't seem to stray away from making them round. As such, my characters always seem to have these beady little eyes...
