It's a rather old game for the computer. And I mean OLD, like early PS1 graphics. You rode in a single-person mech that had three different stages it could shift to, or 'Vehicular Formulas' depending on if you liked speed, heavy combat, or something in-between, and the combat was surprisingly complex.
When you talked with the other characters through transmission, it'd do an animated portrait just like that.

I just got struck by a bunch of random images
The first was a cutscene convo Between Alex and Jake, with Alex facing off against the Mech with FF8 boss music in the background.
The other was that I had a flash back to this awesomePS1 game called XENOGEARS. That's probably cause the only Mechwarrior game I have played was either SNES of Genesis..

Do ya know of any other games like that one? I liked the walk around blow stuf up style, but id like to PICK a type of mech to play with..
