A new monster fighter character for  ElCid

While many know her as a hardworking, respectable businesswoman, 28-year-old Petra is also a gorgon. She's never known her birth parents, having been left on a human family's doorstep by her mother, who couldn't take care of her at the time. The family, known as the Fidakis, were shocked at first to find a gorgon baby left for them. But they were determined to raise Petra as their own. Of course, regardless of how accepting the humans around her are, being a gorgon can make living in human society difficult. Having live snakes for hair is only half of the problem -- as she discovered, if she lets her emotions get the better of her, she can accidentally turn people into stone. They recover, but it frightens her to think that she might do this, and so she's always done her best to maintain a calm, borderline stoic persona. She also took to wearing sunglasses everywhere just to further reduce the risk of any petrification incidents. Aside from this, however, she's managed to get by just fine, and as she grew up, her adoptive siblings made extra sure that Petra wasn't made fun of being a gorgon. She went into office work in her early 20s and quickly rose through the ranks to a high position. Recently she's sensed a powerful being's arrival, and although she'd prefer not to get involved in whatever's about to happen, she decided to anyway. Her only stake in the coming conflict is the safety of her kind and loving family.
