Day twenty nine of Mayternity. Terrible pun aside, welcome another story set on Neo Earth. I decided to take us through the lenses of a husky once more.

Curious about her friends, a larger husky decides to pay them a visit.

About three months had passed since Overseer Jace Howell and Dr. Hailey Myers went on vacation, leaving Terry Sein to take up the role of Acting Overseer. Though she had ended up seeing a bit of accidents during her time, plus some injuries, everything within Hyper Lifeline Industries seemed to be flowing well. The other doctors, staff and even their regular volunteers and some clients knew the towering amazon of a husky very well, especially since she continued to help bring in new life into the world along with her job.

After overseeing the experiment with the bunny quadruplets, surprisingly, the higher ups within Hyper Lifeline Industries had decided to give Terry her official title of Broodmother. Thinking about it, it made sense when she had already carried over a hundred offspring over the course of almost a year since the whole hybridization project started. Considering how her body had adapted quite well to each and every pregnancy, they had even opted to take a sample of her blood for other tests. Of course, those would be done within the other Lifeline Centres in other cities.

From the first project actually having an achievement, Terry had found herself still growing. Before, she had already shot to a towering height of seven foot four. Already she had crossed eight feet, making her even larger. Luckily, the ceiling itself was around twelve feet, but with how close she was to it, the amazon of a husky wasn’t too sure that there wouldn’t be a day of her being able to hit it with her head.

Apart from the height change, she had felt herself growing even stronger as well, which meant that she was able to carry larger and heavier pregnancies with more ease. It was practically a win-win situation for her as well, which she didn’t mind. Her suit had been modified as well to be even more comfortable on her body, and further customizations allowed it to change form easily, which made things even more convenient.

Today, however, she wasn’t wearing her suit, at least not fully. Instead, since there was an opening in the schedule for every project in Hyper Lifeline Industries, she decided that she wanted to meet with the fox and tigress. It had been a little while since she had seen both of them. Even though messaging them was easy, it didn’t beat actually seeing them in person.

As such, the husky was dressed in a sleeveless red dress that flowed past her knees, even with her current pregnancy. Her soft stomach swelled significantly due to the eight bear cubs that were within her womb. Just like she had thought when working with the bunny sisters, she wanted to take things a bit slow with the latest pregnancy, though she had also gone through another with the two tiger workers from when she first volunteered before.

Right now, along with the red dress, Terry also wore a pair of soft black leggings which was actually another form of the suit that she usually wore. Coupled with the black shoes she wore and her red umbrella, the husky was all set to look for her friends. With how Miryn usually was, there was the light shower of rain that permeated the skyscraper littered city. The erratic nature of the weather couldn’t stop anyone from appreciating the countless waterdrops when they splashed against the roads and buildings, and the amazon of a husky was no exception to this.

If she had realized that she had taken her time to get to her friends’ mansion in the same way that the couple had done that fateful night, she would have found herself laughing uncontrollably. Of course, even if she deliberately decided to lower her steps, giving her massive stature, her strides were equally large. By the time she had arrived at their home, it was only a few minutes after one, with her barely taking a half hour.

Taking a deep breath, Terry walked over to the door, still marveling at the fact that the fox actually lived in such a big place. Seeing the doorbell, she waited for a few seconds to further calm her excitement. Then the husky pressed it, now knowing that she needed to wait. The cubs within her stomach shifted softly as well, which prompted her to rub her belly with her free paw.

Though she wanted to make her visit a surprise and didn’t inform them of her coming, she still smiled when she heard someone walking to the door. Another neat thing with her sudden lycanthropy was her senses being enhanced. It was certainly something interesting to look at, which was why she had decided to donate and let others research her blood. Perhaps they would be even more shocked than when she went to live with her parents for a little bit.

“Oh, it’s you Doctor!”

As soon as she saw the familiar orange tint of the fox’s fur, any attempt to hold in her excitement had failed, her tail wagging behind her practically a mile a minute. As he looked up and gave a soft smile in return, the husky felt herself become even more shocked.

“It has been a while, Ms. Sein. I trust that you have been well?”

“Of course! Naturally I have to live up to my title as Broodmother, right? But what happened to your eyes? What’s with the color change?”

The thing that had given Terry her shock was seeing that Jace’s blood pools for eyes had gotten splashes of blue and white respectively. Even more surprising was how he wasn’t wearing his glasses as usual. While it could be accounted for him being more familiar in his own home, the husky still felt intrigued.

“Oh, these? I am not too sure, but it seems like both of my eyes have fully recovered. You are no longer blurry without the glasses, Ms. Sein. But enough chatting out here at least. I believe you would like to come inside instead, correct?”

“Ah, true! My bad. Sure, I’d love to come in! Is Hailey here as well?”

Shaking off her umbrella outside, the husky bent down slightly to get through the fox’s door. With a large white couch that he had gestured to, she sat down softly, a bit afraid that she was actually too heavy considering how much she had grown apart from the bear cubs who seemed to be asleep currently within her. Further shock came as she realized how she didn’t even feel or hear a creak. When she sat down, Terry decided to ask for the tigress as well, since she didn’t see her beside the fox.

“Hailey is actually asleep right now, Ms. Sein.”

“You know, we’re at least friends now, Doctor. I know you don’t mind me calling you that, so you can also simply call me Terry. It’s alright with me.”

“Fair enough. I am too used to formality, it seems. But I will remember that, Terry.”

Hearing that, she smiled softly before going back to the main topic. The tigress actually being asleep at this time surprised her, and it seemed like the fox already realized what she wanted to ask. Before she could say anything, Jace coninued speaking.

“Unexpectedly, we will be having a dozen cubs together. With such a large pregnancy, her gait has been reduced to a waddle. I simply let her sleep for longer due to the surprising weight as well.”

“Twelve cubs? That’s… wow. Congrats, Doctor! I didn’t realize that you were so fierce that you left Hailey bedridden. Perhaps you should participate in the project as well, seeing how this is only her first pregnancy too~”

With her light teasing, the fox ended up stammering softly in his words. The husky could also see that a part of him was wondering whether or not to be a donor, since he had closed his eyes in thought. Naturally she left him in that state, simply looking down at her motherly middle and caressing the gravid swell that she was carrying. A few bear paws responded to her touches, making her smile even wider than coming to visit.

“If Hailey doesn’t mind, then that can be discussed. Perhaps you would like to see her, however?”

“Haa… Doctor, there’s no need for that. I’m already here.”

“Ah, Hailey! Look at you!”

As soon as Jace heard Hailey’s voice, the fox looked over to his lover who was currently stepping down the stairs with her substantially stretched stomach jutting out far in front of her. The pajamas she wore were stretched considerably across her belly. Even if she looked like she could handle the descent, he still walked over to her side and took a paw. The husky got to see the tigress blushing immensely in response, her faded grey stripes now coated red, any impression of her trying to be calm and collected immediately destroyed.

“Hehehe… ahem. My bad. I can’t believe you’ve gotten so big, Hailey! In fact, I can’t believe that you would have ended up just like me when I volunteered!”

“Y-Yeah, I get it. I’m huge. I also didn’t expect this, but Jace is..”

Before she continued saying anything, the tigress felt her cheeks burning even more. That was all it took to put a massive grin on the husky’s face, of course. Still, she practically stayed rooted to the couch while the fox led his waddling lover over to sit down.

“I thought that you would have wanted to sleep a little longer, Hailey. What woke you up so soon?”

“A massive hunger. These not-so-little ones were kicking up a storm, so I had to come down.”

“I could have brought you some breakfast in bed, however. Of course, either way, I am glad to see that you are doing fine.”

“Hey, hey! No flirting in front of me like this! You’re going to make me jealous!”

As soon as Terry saw Jace placing his paw on Hailey’s face with the tigress looking like she was going to melt, the husky felt like she needed to stop everything. Of course, it was too late, because her face was burning much in the same way as the tigress’ own now. She immediately felt flustered. The bear cubs within her were kicking about a bit harder too, as if they also wanted the two lovebirds to calm down.

“Oh, my apologies, Terry.”

Seeing that the fox had retracted his paw, she breathed a sigh of relief while looking at the tigress who also looked back with a further flush of crimson against her cheeks.

“Oh! I also wanted to tell you about the recent experiment with the shakes, Doctor. The theory about different flavours producing different results actually worked! Of course, afterwards those four bunnies decided to make themselves indistinguishable from each other, hmph.”

“The shake theory? Ah, that I talked about before my vacation? Well, I do not mind you talking about it right now then. It would be good to get some semblance of what has been happening since my superiors told me to relax until Hailey gives birth.”

“Cool! So then, here’s the thing. Out of the four flavours so far…”

Just like that, she ended up spending two and a half hours with Hailey and Jace, talking about the project and then about random things. Terry felt her tail shifting around on the couch with her excitement the whole time. Eventually, though, she decided that it was time for her to leave, with both fox and tigress deciding to send her off.

“Alright! You have to tell me when it’s time for Hailey, though! I wouldn’t want to miss it… except for if I end up going as well, hehe..”

“Sure thing, Terry. Are you sure that you do not want a ride back? The car itself is able to hold your height easily.”

“No thanks, Doctor! I walked here, I can walk back. Of course, I’ll make sure to visit again when I have the time. Bye to you too, Hailey! I can’t wait to see how cute they’re going to be!”

With that, the husky took up her umbrella again and gave her gravid belly another rub with her paw. Considering the softness of their kids, those eight bear cubs were probably fully asleep. She planned to head back to the Lifeline Centre and take a good rest as well.

Waved off by the fox, she stepped back onto the rainy path of the streets. It seemed to rain a bit heavier than it did in the morning, but as expected, her tail was still wagging a mile a minute as she disappeared from the couple’s sight…
