I'm leaning towards 'memory wipe of todays events'. Would be interesting to see what it is though.

Doubt Miles and Rachel will be harmed in any way, specially since the Dispatch Handler herself stated it's not their fault, but of those two dingus who thought playing catch with a giant boulder was a good idea. I feel it will either go on a "wipe their memories of the events and make a fake one on it's place" or something else to persuade them to never speak about it again in a non-harmful way.

I wonder if I'll still want to read the comic after this

I have this exact fear.

My interest started dying the moment he introduced over half a dozen more characters in this arc. The pace of the story is slow enough as it is.

Remember when this was just a dumb anime-inspired slice-of-life romcom and the fact that it took place on a farm actually kinda-sorta meant anything at all?

Can we go back to that? It was stupid, but at least it didn't feel pretentious and like it's being put on proverbial life support just to keep it from ending.

I hear ya, It wasn't perfect, but it was earnest.

The funny thing is it still feels like an anime, just a bloated shonen one now. More characters instead of character development, and crucial information or context is revealed at a frustratingly slow pace.

His art is still great (better than ever even), but curves can only keep my attention for so long.

I wouldn't say Chalo's art is at its best, he's taken big swerves into really dumb-looking cartoony facial expressions, overexaggerated character design, gradually giving everyone the same huge boobs and triple-thick eyebrows, etc., and he's never exactly fixed his issues with perspective and keeping characters on-model (especially when it comes to height, I'll never forget the page a couple years ago where Taffy and Sarah's height difference suddenly became so drastic they looked like the Hulk and Betty Ross next to each other).

it's like she is THREATENING the 2 that had nothing to do with it.

Got to say world wide secret police makes me thing things are not so rosy for the humans on the new earth. The primes did kind of destroy the first one.

When she says "Pay an incredible price." I hope she's just being hyperbolic. Like the price they pay is loss of their ignorance of the horrors that might well be visited upon the world soon.

While I feel for Miles I still feel for those two acolytes though. They were coping with their situation and got in trouble by accident.

There's a lot of menace but not a lot of information here.
