My first original written for the OPL. If you've heard of the OPL2, this is the bare-bones predecessor to both chips. How? While the OPL2 gives the user the ability to switch waveforms for unique sounds, the OPL only has one waveform... a sine wave! Other than that, not much is different between them; both chips can switch from FM to additive synthesis for unique sounds, and both chips can switch from melody mode and rhythm mode (and vice versa).
Oh yeah! ...Italo-Disco time, baby! Forgot how fun it was trying to write in that style of music.
