I can't help but see them as the All-Wolves' snobbish business competitors.

They were all leaders of their respective countries until one day they thought "screw it" and just decided to join the three countries into one. Once it was established that the new country was made of awesome and win and could be self sufficient without the need for their leadership, they abandoned their roles of royalty to travel the world, fight evil, and see the sights!

Or something.

Perhaps they've just been Royally honoured by the head of state of Svengland for founding Joogg Cubet magazine and making it so successful?
