"Ah, what a productive day! Now to get back home and play some video games before it gets too late!" You triumphantly say to no one in particular as you bag a few groceries you got at the neighborhood FurMart and head back home.
Though you hated grocery shopping, the refrigerator was as bare as your wallet and you needed some form of nourishment to get through the weekend-
Pizza it is! Along with some unhealthy, yet tasty treats to munch on. It was such a nice day (and gas prices were so high), you decided it was easier to just walk to and from the store; it was only a few minutes both ways.
Realizing the ice cream was starting to melt, you took a shortcut through the nearby park...you cringed for moment, as if that might be a bad idea...but shrugged it off. Even though it was post-epidemic and people were slowly starting to come back out again, the park was still a bit isolated by the public.
Breaking into a quick stride, you hurried through the park: it -was- unusually empty. Not to mention strange not seeing any kids running around this time of year! Oh well...
Your ears twitched as you heard a low squeaking sound coming from ahead, the sound that could only come from a swingset. Huh, so someone was here? You weren't sure if you were happy or startled not to be completely alone. Continuing your walk, you cannot help but feel as if someone is watching you- your eyes wander to the swings and see an all too familiar lyolf staring at you.
Quietly sipping on her iced coffee, Whisper looks up at you, the wooden swing creaking as she rocked in it. She looked as if she was waiting on someone...or something. You wave at her and wonder if you should go chat with her or not. You had not spoken to her in ages, and was surprised to see her out and about since she as mostly a homebody.
Should you bother her, or keep going about your way?
Apparently she picked up on your curiosity, because she motions you to join her on the swing. She scoots over, letting you sit on the other side.
Unexpected, but okay...you weren't going to turn down the offer!
You settle in, making sure not to get -too- close so as not to appear creepy or weird. With a nod, she goes back to sipping on her coffee. Not sure where this situation was going, or why she asked you to sit next to her, you contemplate your next move:
-Idle chitchat
-Just stay quiet and enjoy her company
-Offer her some of the snacks you have with you
-Run. It's obviously a trap
Choose wisely.
If you don't know the answer, then you're either a new watcher, or do not know Whisper very well. Most of her long time watchers and friends know the answer without hesitation!
Another old piece of art I put off posting (yeah I know, bad me; at least I got around to it eventually). Whisper- really needs to work on her communication and social skills. I'm pretty sure the majority of her friends assume she is going to kill them the minute they provoke her, say the wrong thing, or don't offer her any of their food! LOL.
But she looks so cute and sweet otherwise, you would not know she was an assassin unless you are a close friend or work with her. She actually takes pride in that :)
Just a chill piece of Whisper enjoying a nice spring day in the park-
Fun fact- Whisper actually hates coffee. She only drinks it for the caffeine to stay hyped up and alert at all times.

I would deffinetly offer her some of the snacks I just bought. As... Going home playing videogames seems nice but... When you meet a fellow lyolf you have not seen in ages and do not want to come off impolite and as a good friend you are... You have to get in to a good and long conversation with her and also enjoy some time together while having some snacks together.
To be quite honest this was my thought the moment that I combined 1 and 1 as the icecream is melting and Whisper seems to be sitting alone on the swingset so... That decision was made even before I read through the choices you listed down there ehehe. ^^ You allways have to enjoy some icecream with your fellowlyolf and spend some time with her.

Well thank you! I really do appreciate the fact that people DO read the descriptions and stories I post along with my art (I honestly did not think many people did, haha).
As for tips? I just wing it/use artistic freedom. I use the commission/art that the artist creates as my muse and I make up a story to accompany it.
As for writing a dialogue? Pretend like you're interacting with someone and write it down. That's it! It can be as serious or casual as you wish :)
I just picture what Whisper would say or do since she is based off me and use that as a guide. If you know your characters personalities, use that as a basis to work with. And most importantly, don't overthink it!
