Imoldra: *gives the boy an appraising stare, and sniffs the air around him.* Let me guess... You were bitten by a very big, and very strange looking "dog" and now you're experiencing all kinds of strange things? For instance you have the urge to just run... not to anywhere, just... run... as fast as you can? And you've now gotten a bizarre craving for really rare steaks?

Levi: *gives a small sad smile* I never had to worry about any of that. I was born into my pack. But… *a slight whine colors his voice* things are bad. A lot got out of hand with the new alpha. I left to find my uncle. Hopefully he can help.

*he sniffs curiously and sneezes at the potency of the magic* Are you a lycan, too?

Imoldra:*A low growl in his voice* I see... you have my deepest sympathies pup... It us bad enough to lose one's parent, but it seems you have lost your whole pack due to this alpha's mania. I promise you one way or another, your losses will be avenged...

Levi: *wipes an eye with the back of his hand and gives a silent nod of thanks* My uncle was alpha before the new one challenged him and ran him out. He’s an old wolf, but he was always fair and kept us safe. I know he probably can’t challenge the alpha now, but don’t know where else to go.

Imoldra: Nonetheless, your uncle sounds like a well respected member of the pack, he might be able to talk some sense into the others, or at the very least speak with other packs. No one wants a megalomaniacal alpha getting the humans all stirred up and starting another witchhunt.

Levi: Thank you, I needed to hear that. I was starting to think this was a lost cause.

I’ve been tracking him for weeks, and I’m already states away from my pack. I don’t know how far he went when he left.

Imoldra: Do your senses tell you that you are getting close? Are you aware if you are being persued by your old pack?

Levi: Closer, but not close yet. *he rubs an arm and shrugs his shoulders* I don’t think I’ll be missed by anyone but my brother. I’m the runt. Nobody sees me as a threat.

Imoldra: Your brother, is he safe?

Levi: I think so. He’s much stronger than I am. I just hope he can keep his head clear… it’s so easy to give in when everyone else does.

Imoldra: If he is as brave as you are now, I am certain he will be well. Go pup, find your uncle. I will hide your trail in the unlike event you are being followed...

Levi: *can’t quite make eye contact at the compliment, but gives a quick bow of his head in thanks* I can’t tell you how much that helps. Thank you! I, uh, I didn’t catch your name…

Imoldra: *gives a smirk, as he is fairly certain most packs have forgotten him* You can call me Imoldra if you wish...

Levi: *goes pale* You’re kidding.

Levi: Some. But he… you were just a bogeyman, something to make sure pups behaved. But-but you’re real. *he begins to hyperventilate, almost to the point of lupine panting*

Imoldra: Ah, so all but forgotten. Calm yourself boy, I'm not here to drag you off, or turn you into a raven, or whatever nonsense you likely heard... I swear "boogeyman" is a long way to fall from The Creator of Lycanthopy... a pup with a heart as pure as yours... and filled with as much fear as yours simply caught my attention.

Levi: *brows furrow as he sorts the fact from fiction* You created the Shift? How come nobody still talks about you?? There are so many packs that would do anything to just talk to you!

Imoldra: Some packs still know of me and my role in the existence of Lycanthopy, but they are fewer than they used to be. There are even some who know of me and resent me, calling gift their gift a "curse" and would have nothing to do with me. Yet most have simply forgotten me because I never forced my guidance upon the packs. I have never been an overly demanding parent, as long as the packs do not upset the balance or draw undo attention to themselves, and I am content. The actions of the new alpha of your pack have me concerned...

Levi: Me, too. I’m worried that we can’t fix this.

Imoldra: Nonetheless, it is worth the attempt. Things tend to get... complicated when I have to get involved...
