There is a story about a guardian living in the most sacred parts of great woods here, in Varn. Huge, giant boar looking over the ancient trees, rivers, groves. A worst nightmare for a lost hunter or a criminal wishing to hide from unwanted eyes. His territory marked by ancient ward stones and anyone who will dare went past them should have a good reason to do so, or risk to disappear. Guardian beast isn't evil, but it treats us with suspicion. Those who foolishly try to mess with the forest or the boar will vanish, soon becoming a part of forest... and it's guardian.
However, If you show respect, then you can get closer to the surprisingly simple and benevolent bristled warden, and he will do his best to understand you in return. Just don't expect much civil niceties or verbose speech... after all, the entire forest may as well be his giant bedroom.
