Beizel seems like... He's like if an edge lord character made by a 13 year old boy was just really wholesome and not actually edgy? I mean we haven't seen a TON of him yet, but like, he comes off like someone who does the whole, "Teleports behind you, 'Nothing personal, kid.'" But then rather then stabbing you, just gives you a pat on the back and goes, "You tried your best and you should keep practicing because losing is just part of life and nothing to be ashamed off. Here have 5$ and go get yourself an ice cream for being such a good sport." And then he's gone again.
I think this hits more because Lopin has earned himself nothing but love now that he's an outcast, but he just got reminded and hit by his worst emotional punch again. Poor boy just wants love and to have his sentiments thrown back so hard by people he wanted to please... yeah. just want to give him all the love and hugs.
Eh, I live alone now, so I don't much see the point. Might be good at certain furry cons so I get noticed. 'Cause I kinda accidentally creeped on someone at Midwest Fur Fest in 2014 by just standing there. Was waiting for either to notice me and they never did... so I... just walked away, feeling awkward.
If I'd been wearing something that made more noise, I suppose it might've helped. =P I'm just not sure where I'd wear the silly thing if I did.

I imagine Yinglets really treasure clothing considering they presumably get almost all their leather and textiles from humans. Their civilization is really young I doubt even with humans around to help them that many have built looms or set up all the vats/chemicals needed to make leather. The fancy clothes that humans make would be much more comfortable, stylish, and accessible anyways.
I have sympathy for the so so fancy lad. He was happy, pepped up to brighten the day of his human friend only to embarrass himself in front of and get shunned by his former matriarch.
