Folks don't often get along well with their Mirror Universe counterparts, and both K'Mae and K'Mae can attest to that (even if they are more similar than they'd like to admit).

Kairyu-shin and I have been playing some Star Trek Online together, and that's where K'Mae came from: one of his custom Bridge Officers (built as a Combat Medic sort of character). When he dared me to make a Caitian of my own, I went and made one myself; without thinking, I named her something close to K'Mae and genius struck us both! So now Kai has K'Mae, and I have Mirror K'Mae!
