As a general rule, most animals don't consider footwear to be viable. Any and all socks, shoes, and even sandals would have to accommodate for the size and shape of the foot, and whether or not the toes are clawed. But for me, my claws can be retractable, just enough to slip on some socks. Have you ever seen any cartoon animal that only wears a shirt and a pair of socks, without any exposed genitals? I don't know; your guess is as good as mine. All I know is that I actually like this look.
