EDIT: Since we decided to go back to Kajirra's old original design (and we really like this picture in particular), I recolored it to fit in Kajirra's pure white coat! All the stuff I'm writing below does not apply anymore, obviously x))

Finally revealing our finished redesigns in their full glory!!
I already made very simple straightforward ref sheets for them (mainly to help myself lol) but I don't think I'll be posting that, I'll try to do proper ones for them both in the future <3

As I mentioned before on previous pictures, Tomoe is now a proper northerner (not a White Northerner, but a northerner) with a thick fur coat and his stocky chubby build fitting in as a normal characteristic of the races living in the harsh cold Thirian mountains. He also got a bit lighter colors and more white overall, but that's the only changes for him. With Kajirra, we went for the opposite - she's not a White Northerner anymore, but a mix of races living in the middle of Thira, where the climate is much milder than on the rest of the continent. Lush, huge forest of various different trees and tall grass and bushes, her kin wouldn't blend in well with their environment if they were purely white. Most of the wolves there are of brown shades as the trees and the ground, but it all gets covered by a white overcoat they grow in the winter, to blend in with the snow as well. That way, they get the advantage for both two seasons. Kajirra is a little "broken" - her actual coat would be normally as dark brown as her head, but since she's a mix, her colors got a bit confused and most of her fur remains white. However, she's not standing out. It's not an unusual sight in her homeland, a small tiny territory right between the huge domain of Andersoll and the empire of Oghir, as many different races mix here. And since she has never been a huntress, she doesn't have to care about a camouflage anyway.

We both love their new looks, they fit well! <3 I might still play with Kajirra a little, I had a really hard time figuring her out and deciding which alternative to go with. Thank god  tomoefuchs had his clear preference, otherwise I would probably never choose XD
