Airbrushed snow leopard tail cuddles
Snow leopards are snugly!
Here's a huge snow leopard tail that was also a chance for me to mess aorund with airbrushing spots. Because of the kind of pigment I use, the tail is still soft and fluffy, it's not stiff where the paint is, though the texture does change slightly.
Tail is for sale, if anybody's interested.

Nah, I don't believe in trade secrets. It's made from Montery Mills white fox fur, which is super fluffy. And lucky for you, MM makes a color of that stuff called "palomino" that's almost the color of your tail, I think. You can get it from www.crscrafts.com where they have fake fur under the bear supplies section, thepalominio is a "fox fur" so it'll be in that area.
I can show you the pattern I use for tails too, you probably don't want a straight tail like this one, but there are some curved patterns too.

Well, the basic canine type pattern I use for tails is based off this one here: http://80scartoons.net/fursuitforum.....opic.php?t=105
Though I also do one that's got the "S" shape in it, looks like this: http://bladespark.topcities.com/cos...../lgfoxtail.jpg
That one is basically two pieces shaped like the final result, just sewn together. If that makes sense.

I used Tandy leather dye. This stuff: http://www.tandyleather.com/products.asp?dept=173
It's a bit of a pain to work with, because if you spill it on anything, well... it's dye! You've just recolored your carpet, hooray! It's alcohol based, so you can clean it off of things with alcohol or acetone, but it won't wash off with water at all. And it has fumes like woah. But it sticks to fake fur better than most paints, and is thin to start with, you don't even have to thin it down to use it, so you get nice strong colors without matting the fur.

I definitely could. So shall we deal? How much would you pay to commission this? I was thinking $100. I take paypal, check, or money order. I'd love to make you a tail, but I don't want to go through the effort of making another one unless I'm sure I have a buyer, so I'd like to get payment,or at least a partial downpayment before hand.
