She's got her go-rifle, her go-pistol, her go-bag, her go-coffee, her go-cigar, but she forgot her go-pants.
Drew this a year ago, all the gear is drawn from memory. If I had it to do over, I'd probably give her a magnifier, at least. The Berserk symbol was added on when I finished it, as I think it was close to when Miura had passed away.

Also probably the type who goes around posting "Blue Lives Matter" stickers everywhere while the police stands outside active school shooting scenes tasing the mothers of children being gunned down.
But, you know, "ooo those commies wanna take me guns now" even though literally not a single commie is anywhere near political power in her country.

Going around with a patch that says "Commie Killer" during a time when the bourgeoisie is literally fucking her livelihood to death with lower wages and reduced protections, threatening to take her land into privatisation, when a government of the right wing is imposing more and more restrictions on people's rights to express themselves (reproductive rights, sexual rights etc.) is really screaming "leave me alone".
I remember your little comic Better Days where you had the main character write an essay in school and got in trouble about "the savage barbarians of the native Americans deserved to be civilised" and his mother character smiled at that Ayn Rand bullshit, that really screamed of someone abiding to a "leave people alone"-policy.
Do please tell me about this wellspring of commies who are bothering this character in the American heartland.

I'm not going to get into a strawman contest about what a capitalist is, or a communist is. I'm not the same person I was a long time ago, and I'm willing to contend with that, note my points about shocking positions may fall flat, and I was too argumentative and stirred the pot more when I was young.
Don't assume Red is for these things. She's not. She's a character.
If you leave people alone, don't force them to do what they don't want, don't take their stuff, and don't try to hurt them, and you can go be a communist or a fascist all you like. I hate all statists. Communism is just a flavor of it.
If your ideology won't allow you to leave them alone, you're the bad guy.
That's where I am now. Sorry you're so sensitive. But if you hate me you should probably not follow me.

Yeah most leftists these days don't even know what a fascist actually is. Probably because if they actually looked it up and studied the actual history of the fascist movement they would learn that fascism was actually a form of socialism. Mussolini himself was a Marxist in his youth.
The neo-Marxist believes that all forms of non-communism (freedom, liberalism, etc) will eventually become fascism. This is why they call anything that's not communism, fascism, without any irony or self awareness. It's delusional and religious, but it explains why they are like that.
Well, that does make sense. Fascism is just the socialism in broader concept, applied nationally, without the faith that it will result in a stateless communism. Socialism takes ownership of production, while fascism allows it to be private, but controls it for the priorities of the state. Both evil.
I will point out that both of you have completely misunderstood the basic philosophy of socialism and just explained the capitalist-washed version of it. Not to mention a complete misreading of Mussolini's path from a news editor for a socialist paper to the founder of Italian fascism. Calling socialism "a form of fascism" is an outright disregard of philosophy, and doesn't make sense historically either. You are applying a direct line cause and effect with saying that "Mussolini is the tie between the two" the same way one might assume that eating a bowl of cereal in the morning turns someone into a mass shooter because someone once did it.
Fascism is ultranationalist to it's core that elevates nationality and countries above and seeks to divide people along those and further lines like sexuality, religion, gender, skin colour and more. It is often applied by capitalism as it divides the working class between each other and keeps them from fighting the upper class.
Socialism is internationalist to it's core that elevates the working class above, disregarding everything that divides that class in between. Socialism seeks to unify the working class across all borders against the exploiting upper class.

I didn't call socialism a form of fascism. I called fascism a form of socialism. Marx saw socialism as a path to communism and the erasure of classes and distinctions, and leading to a secular utopia. Fascism imposes a form of socialism as the end to itself (unity) while still recognizing differences in classes, abilities, outcomes, and nationalities and features of culture.
As someone who wants to be free from both of them, I see how either can appeal to a rampaging statist.

Fisk, your lack of understanding of political ideology is deeply troubling. You throw around terms like Neo-marxist as if that is synonymous with communist, and act like a vaguely defined concept like "freedom" is an economic system that they are against. I'm not a Marxist Leninist or other form of Marxist, but the idea that any society with an economic system rooted in capitalism (ie a system of private ownership over the means of production with profit driven commodity production) will eventually become fascistic is just flat out correct.
Capitalism requires a constant expansion to combat the tendency for the rate of profits to decline. It needs new markets, cheaper materials, and deeper exploitation of it's workforce to squeeze out more profits to counteract that tendency. When that constant expansion fails to happen, capitalism enters its inevitable crises state. At that point a new round of primitive accumulation happens and a select few of the capital owners collude with right wing populists to crush worker rights and roll back civil liberties. Fascism is an inevitability under capitalism. Ideologies that favor capitalism such as liberalism and librarians will, by in large, always throw in with the fascists over communists during these crises because support of capitalism is central to those ideologies.

I've studied Marxism and neo-Marxism and I'm not talking about of my ass. You're wed to this false fascist/communist binary that I reject as a kind of secular religious assertion, as I also reject your definition of "capitalism." Your definition requires it collude with statist power, mine doesn't. It doesn't have to, and it shouldn't.
I'm sorry you're so triggered by Red's expression that she will kill anyone who advocates her enslavement under communism. But it is an ideology that requires it be imposed against those who don't even want it. Whereas, real freedom is just default.

No, it fits the bill here as someone who threatens to "kill commies" inadvertently plays into the hands of the fascist capitalist state that divides people along borders of nationality, religion, gender, sexuality and more in order to keep the working class separated and divided, fighting amongst each other and distracted from the true criminals of society.
No. It's someone who wants to be free and resist the force of communists. I know you're possessed by radical leftist ideology and you have your talking points pre-chambered, but it loses the big picture that they want to be free to determine their trade relationships, keep their things, and not be forced into and enslaved by communism.
The fascist/communist binary is a false one, and it's not an argument.

I have and like Eotechs, but I leaned toward battery life for my DD as it's for general use. I haven't had the DD long enough to really compare it to the BCM, which has had thousands through it without any issues (about half suppressed, I estimate). The DD shoots a bit smoother, probably because it came with a heavier recoil buffer. Both are 16" rifles. BCM is pretty solid by most of what I hear and I haven't had any personal experiences to make me think they're not.
My experience with AR pistols is limited. I only have one that keeps changing configurations as I try things. Started as a Springfield and ended up with a BCM 11.5" upper on it with a quad rail and a lot of toying around and seeing what I like. And all the money floating away as I figure it all out.

My AR pistol started out as a stripped Aero lower. Put that together with a Geisele SSA-E, and threw on the DD Mk.18 upper. It's a 10.3" so it had a good amount of kick (plus the MK18 in particular is pretty overgassed); swapped the buffer from the build kit for an H3 weight and a Springco Blue spring, threw a Surefire Warcomp on the end and now she shoots beautifully. My "project" gun is a 9mm CMMG Banshee; which I love, I just can't figure out how the hell I want to set it up. Wanted to run a can on it, but now...suppressors aren't seen as very "cash money" where I had to move for work.
DD and BCM both do their own spin on the Mk.12, and I've been trying to decide what to go with for my next build. While tuning out the muted sobbing of my wallet, of course.
