Here's finally a photo of my boyfriend's (Nightfox) Jeep Wrangler, with the spare wheel cover with my art on it. :)
Mylo was so kind to print and put the picture on the cover. Thank you! *hugs*
I like custom pictures on cars. ^^

Its really intersting, everybody who owned a Jeep still talks about it and misses it.
When i sold my Cherokee i survived 3 weeks without a Jeep ;)
And the CJ is a beautiful machine, you should get one again, the become rare.
Luckily over here they don't sell the 2wd at all, i never understood why the build 2wd ones......

They built the 2WD for insurance purposes, which makes sense here in the U.S. When Insurers see '4WD' on a vehicle description, that's an immediate increase in policy price.
I probably will get another once I have settled into one place. Being military, I move around alot. Only reason I've kept my old F-150 pickup is because it allows me to move without renting a van or anything.

I don't mean to offend, but I would rather drive a manual. w
What doesn't make sense to me is an automatic Jeep. It kind of defeats the purpose of on owning and going off road in one.
I owned two Jeeps before I bought my Volkswagen Bus and I don't know how I would get a long without driving a manual car.
But that's just my opinion.

But you burn the clutch when creeping off road... Thats where the automatic wins paws-down. With the automatic you can ramp into the torque converter, while holding position with break, and then feather out breaking and inch forward with massive amounts of torque at your disposal as you do. To do anything remotely similar in a manual requires using the clutch as the controlling element, which you will rapidly burn it up doing any level of creeping/crawling with the vehicle. And as far as 4WD systems are concerned, Jeep still has the best, IMHO. Giving the operator the choice of how much, and which, differentials to lock, is VERY useful!
Don't worry, i know that there is always a big discussion about that. And everybody has his opinion and of course i respect that.
I'm a member of the Jeep owners club for over 12 years now and i was doing active rock climbing for several years and also a few mud ralleys.
If you use a shifter for a trial challenge you will loose your clutch very fast like LeonatoLynx said, i have seen that several times.
Talk to people who drive in Moab, most of them use automatic.
For mud well, it does not really matter if you use a shifter or automatic but if you take it serious and do heavy passages where you have to use your winch i was always thankful for automatic too.........
But even it you talk to professionals you will hear both sides and i think that will never change.
Besides all the technical stuff i have another personals reason for automatic: I can hold my girls paw while driving :)

AMEN! That is very well put! Hehe, my truck I was driving when I met my foxy was manual, and that always bit... not being able to hold her paw 100% of the time... Now that truck is gone, and we drive her car everywhere, and its automatic, and yes, the clasped paw, or just paw-on-knee is quite nice =^.^=
Holding her paw is always nice, but I couldn't bring my self to buy/drive an automatic car though. I think its just too boring. It takes all of the fun out of driving.
I got rid of the Jeep because there was nothing to do around here, nowhere to go and tool around here except the beach. Our beach is protected by our states environmental system. So there was not much to do there. Florida is full of flat roads so I bought and lowered my bus. We cruise on the weekends and driving manual is one of the better parts of it.

I love literally everything about this. Everything. It makes me realize that there are some very widely untapped venues for furry art that I would love to see exploited more. My wife HATES Jeeps, but she said she actually wanted one after seeing that, provided we would get to display the art of our characters on the back like that. That's absolutely adorable. Great job and thank you so much for sharing it with all your watchers!
My boyfriend's gonna be so jealous X3

Gosh that's so freaking excellent and guaranteed unique! :D I bet
nachtfuchs loves seeing that art every time he goes for a drive.

I would like to give you credit for the original idea that inspired me to decorate my motorcycle for AC.
