This popped into my brain awhile back while reading someones journal right after they had broken up with their partner. In it, he wrote something along the lines of "won't someone just explain to me the elements of a relationship; because I just don't understand..." While I am almost 100% sure that this is, in fact, NOT what he was asking for, I still couldn't help myself.
Air
This is where all relationships will both begin, and end. You're free, independent and completely without restraint. While sometimes it could take some time to get to this point in-between relationships, just know that it is inevitable... eventually you will make it back full circle to this stage to start anew.
Fire
Here are where flings and crushes come to die. It's a fun and exhilarating dance within the flames. Keeping the relationship warm while attempting to keep it from scorching will prove to be quite the challenge when your passion runs hot and burns wildly. Just keep turning it and soon enough it will DING to let you know it's ready.
Water
Emotions run deep in this element of the relationship. Proposals are given, babies are born, and white picket fences are built. It all may seem perfect but you will soon come to the realization that the children are sick, the bills are due and the in-laws are coming to town. It's one helluva roller-coaster ride but don't worry, if you ride it out it, the destination is well worth the thrill.
Earth
Every thing's quieter now. The roller-coaster of water has come to a halt and the dust has settled. You've been through a lot with your partner by now and it shows. You know their quirks, they know yours and that's ok. Acceptance, familiarity and stability are what make up this element of the relationship.
It doesn't always have to take a lifetime to make a full circle in a relationship either. For some couples things just seem to click. They will still go through every single element; it just happens much faster. Some couples will even seem to take pit stops in-between their elements for any number of reasons. Whatever the case may be for you and your partner, just know that it is a cycle that is ever repeating. Happiness will find you when you least expect it.
~wow, this turned out way longer than expected... x_x~

Well, of course it's the odd one out... it is the only one in which it is whole by itself. All of the others are "part" of the whole.
I wanted to make the character seem unisex and useally the colors yellow or green stand for unisex. Since the color of air is yellow the only logical choice was to color it green. :P
