Does she? Personally, I think she just sees her daughter as a living doll who doesn't have feelings, wants, needs, dreams, goals, and discomforts. If Emily's OK with it than cool. Otherwise Mommy no different than how you see her daughter as I stated where do you think Emily learned her behavior from?
Perhaps mommy should have thought about the cost of diapers before she put Emily in them? If I’m a parent I’m doing what I think is best for my children no matter what the cost. Emily’s mom clearly thinks diapers are best for Emily. She’s just a bit annoyed because that is an accident that could have been avoided if daddy didn’t tickle her. I think she’s just joking when she says that anyway.
If I’m a parent I’m doing what I think is best for my children no matter what the cost. So would you still do it if it ultimately cost your child her life? What if she can't work or can't make a living because you didn't allow your child to suffer her self inflicted consequences and learn from their mistakes? I'm not saying that she should allow her to destroy her life and get away with murder but this could blow up in her mother's face. Parents are human too and make mistakes as well. Emily's "Mother" may THINK she's doing what's best for her but it could backfire on her in a way she may not see coming. Also I'm surprised Emily's "Mother" can think with that dysfunction meatsack she calls a brain. Oh well... It is what it is...
