The Lego tags and lack of Journey to the West tags is making me angry. This is an old ass story and I feel like way more people are going to know about the Lego adaptation then the original story. It's long AF, like... longer than three Illiad and the Odyssey combined but it's really good.

My spouse and I actually looked up journey to the west BECAUSE OF this show. We read about the actual story for days. Westerners will rarely, if ever, know the true story of the journey to the west, it's just unheard of to share stories from the east, at least in america. America is a very self-centered country. So at least here no one's gonna know about journey to the west unless it's about legos unfortunately. However, t he lego cartoon does have the ability to inspire others to want to read the actual scripts. : )
