Changed my mind about how I want to title commissions and trades. This is the latest zohaku commission, and it's very likely there'll be another part. (I try not to overuse the sort of ending it has, but it's an old habit and I'm still partial to it.. ^.^)

Excellent story. Though I have a question: when the costume is revealed to be a Pokemon the girl says "I know, I know, it was so five years ago, but...". I understand if that was said in our reality, but you say the story is in Saffron City, shouldn't dressing as a pokemon be common (like dressing as an animal)?
It's a rather silly question but I needed something to comment on. I was going to make a weird sandwich metaphor, but lucky for everyone I thought it through first. Again, excellent story.

Thank you! And oooh, yes, quite right. It's quite telling, I first wrote the story quite independently of the world around it; I think there's only one reference to the city. Then I rechecked my commission. ;) Good catch!
This one flowed quite well and there is always the danger of continuity error when I'm just putting words down. Generally I get 'em. :o (Or at least they don't get pointed out very much!) But thanks, I'll fix that later today.
