I like to arm Miranda with a big two-hander for fantastical depictions, but I'm sure she could be quite formidable on her own.

I tend to arm my bigger fantasy warriors with two handed weapons because (1) they are strong enough to wear heavy armor and (2) because D&D 3.5 edition has rules that make two handed weapons very effective compared to sword and shield or dual wielding.

is the type of metal steel or carbon steel? which can be stronger if folded the right way

The common sort of armor in my fantasy worlds is tempered steel. Folded steel works well for blades but it is difficult to make curved plates out of it. Also, folded steel armor would be EXPENSIVE due to the effort required to make it.

Would love to see him getting a powerful epileptic seizure in a crowded subway train while wearing his armor. I think it would have been a very messy affair. :p
Badgers in general are pretty vicious. A badger in an armor like this + a sword is almost overkill. When I was young a badger came after me and I can still feel the intense terror I felt. They will always lurk in the dark corners of my mind. Anyway, it's a pretty cool design and image in general. He seems happy, did he just get some stress relief or is there a bloodbath he's looking forward to participate in?

"Oops! Sorry! Oops! Sorry, ma'am. Oooh, I bet that hurt, sorry!" Yeah, spikey armor is not very practical if you plan to walk down the street. And no, I had no particular plan as to why he was wearing the armor. Presumably he's an adventurer getting ready to go someplace with his group.

seizure's are bad i had to deal with a dog named Katie who had them once to twice a week (shes gone now)

Love how you draw helmets, armor, and other gear. Effective-looking and practical.
