A better picture of the species. Mainly just practice painting skin, I paint fur so damn much I'm afraid I'll forget how. It ended up looking like the critters from "The Snurks" because
taklayyankovic got me watching that.

Ooohhh. Spots, ears, nose, skin... I like this. This design is relevant to my interests. X) Reminds me of the half-Hulderkin like Tay.
Also, yay! It's not a great movie (though I know I hype it like it's the BESTEST MOVIE EVAR), but I do feel it's underrated, and Buu makes it worth it for me. Though I feel I don't pay enough attention to Zino sometimes. I HOPE THE FILM WASN'T A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Yeah, the script is... not good. And the film in general was a bit rushed. I think it was supposed to be some kind of student project that ended up bigger than they expected it to be, or something. ALSO, the German version is uncut; there's like ten minutes of footage missing from the English translation and the German DVD doesn't come with English subtitles or voice tracks or anything. It's not so badly cut that it doesn't make sense any more (like Arthur and the Invisibles, though admittedly that was also a very badly scripted film) but there were some cute scenes that really had no reason to be left out except to make the film shorter.
I have this thing for badly written movies. They usually have some character designs that I REALLY like, which seems to usually be my reasons for loving a film as there's no such thing as an original plot. And then I look like a stooge for enjoying the film. DERP.

Well, if you're a stooge I'm a bigger one. I enjoy stuff like "Troll", "High School USA", "Stirba: Werewolf Bitch" or "Doctor Mordrid" - completely unironically, not in the hipster "it's so bad it's good" sense. I'd rather watch something with a couple of wrestling lizards wearing rubber fins and pretending to be dinosaurs than something that's won and Oscar any day. Seriously. Then there's "Hannibal Rising" which was universally reviled but I fucking loved, or stuff that's so out there like "The Forbidden Zone" or anything by Jodorowsky where most people I have to put in a straitjacket to make them watch with me. I suppose I could be ashamed, but I'm enjoying myself too much.
