Preacher Nicolas Garne.
This is what appears to be a normal preacher of the Circles, common throughout all Ithilien and Romairi settlements. Wearing robes of common linen with few dyed decorations and religious embroideries with other accesoaries that's up to the individual preacher.
Whenever the preacher is preaching, he (or she) has to wear a mask that's basically a wooden plank with engraved text and symbols. That is because when he speaks the words of the Circles, the audience is looking upon the holy texts, rather than the person talking. This way it's better for the people to concentrate on the things that matters.
The preachers are just as much religous priests as they are philosophers and all-around problem solvers.
The main philosophy, and religion, amongst the Ithilien, Romairi and even the Xalan people are about the Circles as symbols that everything is eternal. Nothing got an end, and nothing got a beginning. They believe that when a person, animal, or other things with souls dies, they are reborn into another form. So the moment of death, and ressurection, is seen as something sacred amongst all three people.
Being a preacher, especially in Ithilien, isn't at all strict or bound by countless codes. They are strangely free for being men of religion, and through this many developed many personalities as they preach or not.
This man on the picture is a preacher, but far from many also engages in the act of acrobacy and fire tricks. It seems to be what he does whenever he's not preaching; his hobby if you will.
This kind of things are encouraged amongst the preachers and priests, even. This makes more of the people intrested in their words, and it surely makes the children want to go to church.
