Chapter 4: The big day!
It has been a few months and with her due day being very close, her maternal instincts had been kicking up recently. Since she had gone on maternity leave from her school a few weeks ago, her nesting instincts had gone into overdrive, ready their home for their babies arrival. Sarah waddled into each room, cleaning, dusting , and preparing it for her babies arrival. Speaking of her babies, Sarah notices her children being unusually acting today. Moving more harshly and kicking harder than usual. It was enough to pause and maybe make her feel a bit frustrated, but she kept going!
Anon came home after a particularly hard day at work. Being greeted by a whirlwind of clutter as he saw his wife in a cleaning frenzy.
"*Sigh* Hey Sarah, I'm home...*
"Huh? Oh, hey honey! Please be careful where you step! I had to spread things out in order to... OW!"
Snapping out of his tired daze, Anon rushed towards where Sarah was. He found her doubled over in the living room with a mop in her hand, clutching her belly and panting in pain.
"Are you all right??"
"YES!! I-I mean yes. I'm sorry about that. I have been trying to get this place ready for the kids and their constant kicking is not helping."
"Wouldn't you rather be resting rather than pushing yourself like this? I mean you are due any day now."
"I know, I know! Look, the sooner I get this place ready, the sooner I can rest. Now can you please get the solution from the bathroom?"
"Okay, sure."
As Anon walked down the hall towards the bathroom, he suddenly heard his wife cry out.
"AH!!" *SPLOOSH*
Anon rushed back to the living room to see Sarah clutching her stomach, her pants dripping, and a puddle beneath her. Which meant only one thing.
"A-Anon! It's t-time!!"
A moment of stunned silence settled over the two before Anon rushed to get ready to go to the hospital! The babies are ready and their new lives was about to begin!
