As some who is fascinated by historian, and who even has a minor in history himself, it is only natural that Reno's typical occupation is historian and, as this piece here indicated, typically will specialize in Ancient Egypt. This, of course, naturally leads to his in-person encounter with and servitude to the god Anubis. Sometimes those old myths hold a grain of truth in them, as Reno eventually learns.
